With nearly 20 years behind the camera, I’ll play, prompt, and follow your lead so the real moments show up on their own — the belly laughs, the sleepy snuggles, the way your people actually are. Our large studio sits on four acres just west of the Bemidji airport — a warehouse full of creative sets you can walk through and pick from, plus outdoor scenes that change with the season.
Every theme you can dream up is here. Summerween? No problem. And the wardrobe is the part nobody expects — babies, kids, moms, and seniors, all of it hanging and ready, so there’s no running around wondering what to wear or how to dress your brand-new baby.
Prefer your own space, or a favorite spot up at the lake? We do on-location sessions and travel too. You bring your people; we’ll take care of the rest.

In our private Bemidji studio you’ll guided every step of the way — nothing is left to chance. Then the space is yours: the romantic suite, the VIP Lounge, the garage, the Red Room. Pick one, or work your way through all of them.

You don’t need to buy a thing! We have a giant wardrobe right here in the studio and you’re welcome to pick from all of it — hundreds of pieces for seniors, moms, kids, and babies, plus themed and seasonal looks. Suits to boho, formals to vintage. Most people find their whole outfit here on session day. And if you’d like real time to dig through it, try things on, and choose your looks ahead of time, book a wardrobe consult — we’ll pull every piece together before your session so there’s nothing left to figure out

Let them! At one session, little man came in like he’d chugged a Red Bull, big sis was guarding her giggles like a secret, and mama was just hoping we’d get one good shot. But here’s the magic of photography — we don’t need perfect, we need real. In between the wiggles and the I’m-not-smiling-yet faces, we caught something better: the laughing, the love, the bond between a mom and her little people. So let them be exactly who they are. That’s the part you’ll want to keep.

Absolutely. Beyond the studio, we love on-location sessions — families in their favorite spots, special scenery for senior portraits, wherever your story lives. We travel throughout northern Minnesota and regularly down to Duluth, and we’re always up for a bigger adventure too.
