When should I book my newborn session?
Book during pregnancy and choose a date 1 to 2 weeks after your due date. Babies rarely follow their due dates, so when yours arrives, text us and we'll move your session to the soonest opening we have.
What age is best for newborn photos?
We recommend babies be under 2 weeks old, when they're extra sleepy and curl up into those classic newborn poses. Missed that window? It's never too late. We welcome babies at every stage, and our milestone sessions are perfect for older babies.
Do I need to bring outfits or props?
Nope. Our studio closet has wardrobe for baby, big siblings, Mom, and Dad, plus 100+ wraps, layers, and accessories. If you have something special, like a family blanket, a handmade quilt, or tiny moccasins, bring it and we'll build a set around it.
Can siblings, parents, and grandparents be in the photos?
Yes! The Classic and Signature sessions include room for family, sibling, and even grandparent photos. The Petite session is baby only, swaddled on one set.
How long does a newborn session take?
The Petite runs about 1 hour, the Classic about 2.5 hours, and the Signature up to 3 hours, including your same-day viewing. Newborns are wonderfully unpredictable, so we build in time for feeding, soothing, and snuggling. Please plan a little extra time around your appointment.
Which package should I choose?
Most families choose the Classic. It gives you up to 3 sets, room for siblings and parents, and 35 images. If you want every detail captured with no clock watching, the Signature is the one. Not sure? Text us at 218-766-7856 and we'll help you decide.
When will we see our photos?
The same day. Right after your session, you'll view your images and choose your favorites. Extra digital images and heirloom printed artwork are available too.
Do you offer payment plans?

Do you photograph at the hospital or at home?
Yes, on request. We offer Fresh 48 sessions at your hospital, plus weekend and on-location options. Text us to talk through what you have in mind.
Where is your studio?
Our warehouse studio is at 8147 US-2 in Bemidji, MN, just west of the Bemidji airport. Families visit us from Bemidji, Cass Lake, Blackduck, Park Rapids, and all around the lakes area.
